Aero Precision Is Back [NEWS]

The final word came down today: the Aero buyout is official, and Aero released a full press release this morning. Here is that announcement below:

WE’RE COMING BACK: AERO PRECISION, BALLISTIC ADVANTAGE,
STAG ARMS, & VG6 BEGIN A NEW ERA

Family investment group brings stability, resources, and a renewed commitment to our customers, partners, employees, and the firearms industry as our brands transition from private equity ownership into an exciting new chapter.

September 2, 2026 – After more than two challenging years, today we are proud to share the news our
customers, partners, employees, and industry have been waiting for:
We’re coming back.

The past few years have been challenging. Financial and operational challenges affected our ability to
manufacture products, fulfill orders, support our partners, and provide the level of service our
customers expect. We know that created frustration, and we sincerely apologize.

To the customers, dealers, distributors, vendors, and industry partners who continued to believe in our
brands and stand beside us: thank you.

Now, we get to move forward.

Aero Precision, Ballistic Advantage, Stag Arms, and VG6 are now under new ownership by a passionate
family investment group with a long-term commitment to our brands, our people, and our customers.
Our new owners are outdoor and firearms enthusiasts, strong supporters of our military and veteran
communities, business owners, hardworking, self-made people who are truly salt of the earth.

They share many of the same values as the customers and communities our brands serve, including a strong
belief in and commitment to the Second Amendment. They believe deeply in what already exists here:
incredibly strong brands, proven products, talented people, loyal customers, and state-of-the-art
American manufacturing facilities and equipment that are among the most advanced in the industry.

Working alongside W.G. Nielsen & Co., a leading Denver-based investment banking firm that served as
financial advisor for the transaction, the new ownership group developed a long-term vision centered
on preserving what makes these brands special while providing the capital, leadership, resources, and
operational discipline needed to help these companies realize their full potential.

That vision is about building companies that last, and our new ownership understands that doing so
takes time. Through high-quality engineering, manufacturing excellence, and precision machining, we
will bring the products our customers know and love back to market while rebuilding inventory, bringing
our teams back to strength, and investing in the future of each brand. Customers can expect product
availability to steadily increase over the coming months. We ask for patience as we do this the right
way. Our commitment is not simply to get products back on shelves, but to earn back the trust of our
customers, dealers, distributors, and partners through our actions, deliver the quality and service these
brands are known for, and build a company that is stronger than ever.

The work has already begun.

Manufacturing is ramping back up. Supply chains are being restored. Customer and dealer support is
being strengthened. Products will begin returning to shelves. And our teams are already working on
what comes next.

Our immediate priorities are clear:

  • Return manufacturing to full strength.
  • Restore and strengthen relationships with our vendors and partners.
  • Fulfill our significant backlog of existing orders and commitments.
  • Restore consistent product availability across all sales channels.
  • Rebuild trust and deliver the level of support our customers deserve.
  • Invest in our people and American manufacturing capabilities.
  • Get back to doing what our brands do best: building great products and bringing exciting, highquality, affordable products to market.

We know rebuilding trust doesn’t happen with a press release.

We have to earn it.

And we will.

And there is a lot more to come…

Stay tuned for exciting announcements, including product availability updates, returning favorites, and
new product launches.

To everyone who supported us, stood beside us, believed in our brands, and waited patiently for this
moment: THANK YOU. We would not be here without you.
