Dolly Parton’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star was vandalized with multiple scratches, just days after the country music icon was laid to rest.

A fan who visited the star reported the damage on social media. Based on a photo shared by the fan, the star appeared to have been scratched.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, said, “A fan went to the star yesterday and reported on social that the star was vandalized with many scratches.  From the photo she posted, it does appear the star was vandalized with scratches.”

Martinez noted that flowers placed at Parton’s star had been removed the morning before the damage was reported as part of a scheduled repair that had been arranged late last week.

“The crew just completed the first part of making said repairs,” Martinez said. “The star repairs are currently ongoing and are done by the Hollywood Historic Trust, which maintains and repairs the Walk of Fame stars.”

The star is expected to be repaired before being polished Friday, when fans will once again be able to visit the landmark to honor the late singer.

Parton’s star was vandalized shortly after the beloved entertainer was laid to rest following her death at age 80.

Parton died peacefully in Nashville, Tennessee, on Aug. 25, following a brief battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, according to a statement from her team.

The singer’s niece, Lainey Mae Parton, shared an emotional tribute after her grandmother’s burial, remembering the country legend as a source of unconditional love and support.

“This is a really hard post for me to make,” Lainey Mae wrote on Instagram. “I wanted to wait until after my granny was laid to rest yesterday before I tried to put any of this into words.”

“From the time I was little, my granny always had a way of making me feel like I was enough,” she continued. “She never made my dreams feel too big or made me feel like I couldn’t do something. She believed in me before I even knew how to believe in myself.”

Lainey Mae also recalled how Parton supported her decision to attend beauty school instead of college.

“She financially supported me through school and helped me get my career started,” she wrote. “She didn’t just tell me to chase my dreams, she helped me get there.”

The singer’s niece said she would miss Parton’s voice, laugh, hugs and even the early-morning phone calls she once received from her famous aunt.

“It still doesn’t feel real that she’s gone,” Lainey Mae wrote. “I’m going to miss her voice, her laugh, her hugs, and just knowing she was there. I’m even going to miss those 4 AM calls, and I’d give anything to see her name pop up on my phone again.”

Parton’s decades-long career included hits such as “Jolene,” “Coat of Many Colors,” “9 to 5” and “I Will Always Love You.” She also starred in films including “9 to 5,” “The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas,” “Steel Magnolias” and “Joyful Noise.”

Beyond music and acting, Parton was celebrated for her philanthropy. Her Imagination Library has distributed hundreds of millions of books to children around the world.

“I feel incredibly lucky that I got to call her my granny,” Lainey Mae concluded. “Thank you for always believing in me, loving me, and making me feel like I could do anything. I love you, Granny. Always.”
