Former MLB star Jimmy Rollins was not hacked, he is the co-founder of a women’s underwear brand

A few days ago, there was some speculation online that Jimmy Rollins was either hacked or “out here getting his freak on” after a couple Instagram posts seemingly out of left field. Neither was the case.

The posts were part of a business venture the 47-year-old retired MLB star has gotten himself into. In between his analyst role for TNT Sports and sinking hole-in-ones for luxury boats, the 2007 NL MVP has “redesigned the panty.”

A noble endeavor that has apparently paid off. The first of the posts that caught his followers off-guard included screenshots of text messages about how amazing The Pretty Kitty Klub is. That’s the underwear brand he co-founded.

Jimmy wrote, “Texts like this lets us know that @theprettykittyklub is doing its job and saving sex lives one marriage at a time 😂.”

Understandably, this post following one that declared “postseason defense matters!” had people wondering if he had been hacked. Rarely do you see that much range from post to post on Instagram.

But it was real. Jimmy Rollins hadn’t been hacked. He had indeed been out there saving marriages by rethinking the design of women’s underwear.

The second post had models in the product and a message about the upcoming holiday season. It was a doubling down that had more questions filling up the comment section.

“Okay everyone keeps texting and asking but I can’t name names, what I can do is give a glimpse of @theprettykittyklub,” the Phillies great wrote.

“Fellas remember it’s holiday season, get yourself a gift…for her 😜 and to all the Ladies comfy and sexy does exist, treat yourself and you can thank me later. (All the models and scenes are real, AI helped me edit 🤷🏾‍♂️)”

While there were a lot of folks wondering what was going on, and where this had all come from? He did have fans who had grown up with him willing to go along with it. Without any answers.

“I had a lifesize poster of you on my wall as a kid,” one fan wrote. “I guess this is what I’m getting my girl for xmas now😂”

Another added, “Is my 🐐 ok? I’m a guy but if World Series champion and Phillies legend j-roll says so I’ll buy some.”

The company confirmed that up until last week Jimmy had been taking a more private role with the company.

“Mr. Rollins is a co-founder of Pretty Kitty Klub,” they told NY Post in a statement. “Jimmy has taken a more private role, focused on the company’s long-term vision, strategic growth, and business development. That’s why he isn’t currently featured on the website.”

Dream big and have more than one. Life doesn’t end once you hang up the cleats. There is more work to be done and women’s underwear to redesign.
